Morning/Evening Prayer
The Liturgy of the Hours is the official daily prayer of the Church, prayed throughout the world by clergy, religious and lay people. Here at St. Therese, we traditionally combine Morning Prayer with Daily Mass. To pray along with us you will need a breviary. Below are several options:
Christian Prayer:
Christian Prayer is a 1 volume version of the Liturgy of the Hours. It contains Morning and Evening prayers, and a selection of the other “hours”. Our Local Catholic bookstore, the Mustard Seed has a number of copies in stock, in both regular and large print. It can also be purchased on Amazon.
iBreviary:
iBreviary is a free application for praying the Liturgy of the Hours. It is available for download in the Apple store or Google Play store. You can also use it online at www.ibreviary.org. This is a donation supported app published by the Franciscans dedicated to support of the Holy Land. If you decide to use this app, please consider making a donation, to support their efforts.
